expo:QA’09, greatest success to date

expo:QA'09 

expo:QA'09 has had the greatest success of all conferences to date, becoming the key reference event in the Software Testing and Quality field in Spain and one of the European events experiencing the greatest growth.

The conference was held at the Hotel Meliá Avenida América in Madrid and achieved an excellent participation rate with 250 people attending. expo:QA'09 included 30 presentations by international and national speakers spread out over three parallel tracks and with simultaneous interpretation services. 

Tutoriales & Keynotes

Prominent guests teaches 3 outsanding tutorials  the 27^th of October: 

Tom Gilb, author of 9 books about Software Engineering and Quality, and influencer of the "Agile" culture, inventor of the term ‘Software Metrics' and co-author of the static testing method ‘Software Inspection', gave a brilliant tutorial on ‘Real QA'.

Jeff Johnson, well-known expert in Software Usability and author of the bestseller GUI Bloopers: Don'ts and Do's for Software Developers and Web Designers, explained how to design highly-usable GUIs.

Leo Van der Aalst, co-author of TMap® Next and TMap® Netxt BDTM and regular speaker at numerous international conferences, presented an interactive workshop about Test-Governance. 

Award to the best, non-keynote presentation

Siva Kannan, Project Manager at Symantec Corporation (EEUU) was chosen as the winner in the best, non-keynote presentation category for the presentation "Effective Software Testing Made Simple" as voted by expo:QA'09 participants in the interactive "VOTE AND WIN" contest.
