Consultants, Solution Providers and Universities from all over Spain have gathered to inform participants about the most efficient methodologies for software testing and the solutions to accelerate problem-solving in systems. expo:QA offers an annual opportunity to learn about the latest tools for managing the life cycle of software projects. The Sessions aim to offer all sorts of resources to eradicate defects and optimise the performance of their products and services.
This year, the Professional Sessions on Quality and Software Testing offered a busy programme of conferences with companies as important as Microsoft, Borland, CastSoftware, InQA.labs, Compuware, Empirix, Gesein, Programming Research, TCP and Telelogic.
At the same time and during the 3 days, participants have been able to focus on the wide-ranging training offer served by expo:QA: courses given by experts from companies in the Quality and Software Testing sector on an introduction to the evaluation of software processes, based on ISO 15504 (SPICE) and CMMI improvement models. Practical sessions to learn the principal software testing concepts, Early Testing applications in web technologies, practical classes on open source tools for unit testing of software; activities to know the project management processes established by Project Management Institute, etc.
Raynald Korchia, Director of inQA.labs, the company organising expo:QA, closed the Sessions thanking the participants for their presence and commenting: “After the success of this 2nd Session, expo:QA has become a reference event in Spain in this specific sector, and we will of course repeat the experience next year, as this is what the professionals that have accompanied us in theses two years want”. The event was tremendously successful with the audience.
