Consolidation of the exhibition on Quality and Software Testing.
expo:QA 2006 once again gathered professionals from all the sectors, consolidating its presence in the Quality and Software Testing sector by holding its 3rd edition last November 28, 29 and 30, 2006 in Madrid.
In this third edition expo:QA 2006 offered two lines of technical conferences and presentations simultaneously, with the presence of Microsoft, IBM, Compuware, Borland, Telelogic, TCP, Programming Research, Gesein, Mercury and inQA.labs, which presented the most outstanding technical novelties and trends in the sector. There were also international speakers giving presentations, such Michael Bolton offering “Two futures for Software Testing”, Deisy Mosquera (Ecuador) with “SQA como pilar en el caso de éxito a nivel andino del sistema de gestión académica de la UTPL” ( SQA as a base for the success on the Andean level of the UTPL academic management system) and Juan Carlos Sánchez – NTE with “Test coverage: Mediciones objetivas de la profundidad de la validación” (Objective measurements on the depth of validation).
At the same time and during all four days, the participants were able to attend a wide offer of training supplied by expo:QA: courses given by experts from companies in the Quality and Software Testing sector.
For the second time in expo:QA and in Spain the course “Rapid Software Testing” was presented by the expert Michael Bolton, one of the greatest world experts in testing. We can also highlight the Unit testing, with two courses: “Herramienta para la prueba unitaria del software (Tools for software unit testing)” and “Las pruebas unitarias: Un factor decisivo en la garantía de calidad del software (Unit tests: A decisive factor in guaranteeing software quality)”.
expo:QA has become the reference event in this sector in Spain, and the conference will be of course repeated next year, due to the demands of the professionals that have attended in these three editions.
The event was very popular with participants, as seen in the questionnaires they answered.
