¡Objective SURPASSED!: expoQA’07 has brought together more than 150 software quality professionals in its fourth edition held on November 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th in Madrid.
SOGETI’s support has consolidated these days as the most important in the country. During these fourth expo:QA 2007 days, the best practices and latest progress in the world of software quality were presented in Madrid.
Five courses were offered from Monday to Wednesday as well as an IBM workshop for professionals wishing to enlarge their knowledge on issues regarding software quality and testing, given by Spanish (Patricia Rodríguez, Raquel Navarro) as well as international specialists (Michael Bolton, Scott Barber and Ewout van Driel). Some of the issues addressed were: Software Verification, Validation and testing, TMap® Next Basics, Principles of performance testing and A Rapid Introduction to Rapid Software Testing.
On Thursday and Friday, 21 conferences were presented in two parallel tracks with expert speakers in the sector and five keynotes, among which were those of Scott Barber, Michael Bolton and Rob Baarda, all authors of several books about Software testing.
expo:QA also had 8 exhibitors that comprised an ideal platform for professionals and experts to exchange knowledge and experience.
This edition was supported by IBM and enjoyed the presence of other solution providers such as Telelogic, IPL, Compuware, Borland and Visure, as well as the collaboration of other associations in the sector such as: El economista, computing, ATI, ITI, AEDI, ai2, ETICOM, Dotnetmania ,Cibersur and Better Software.
The event was highly successful with the public, as can be seen in the results of the questionnaires answered by attendants.
